tragic fragnt

all devil as i aa daed wretch,

a hardened, stubborn, unrepenting viin,

still heart lts at hun wretchedness;

and with sincere but unavailing sighs

i view the helpless children of distress:

with tears indignant i behold the oppressor

rejoicing in the honest n's destruction,

whose unsubtting heart was all his cri.—

ev'n you, ye hapless crew! i pity you;

ye, whothe seeng good think sin to pity;
